Charlotte & Aaron’s Wedding at Stanlake Park Vineyard – A Day Full of Love, Laughter & Beautiful Moments

When it comes to capturing the magic of a wedding day, nothing beats the combination of a stunning venue, thoughtful details, and a couple deeply in love. Charlotte and Aaron’s celebration at Stanlake Park Vineyard was exactly that – a picture-perfect day that we, Ground Films, were honoured to document. As West Sussex videographers specializing in timeless love stories, we were thrilled to film this vibrant and joyous day.

The Venue: Stanlake Park Vineyard

Located in the picturesque countryside of Berkshire, Stanlake Park Vineyard is a hidden gem for couples looking for a unique and romantic wedding venue. Steeped in history, this vineyard estate offers a beautiful blend of rustic charm and natural elegance. From its lush vineyards and historic barns to the tranquil walled garden, the venue is a photographer and videographer’s dream. With various versatile spaces, it allows for stunning indoor and outdoor celebrations, ensuring the perfect backdrop for any part of a wedding.

Charlotte and Aaron chose the vineyard not only for its beauty but also for its sentimental value. They were drawn to the idea of celebrating in a place they could return to for anniversaries, a reflection of their shared love for wine and creating memories in meaningful places.

The Ceremony: A Romantic Barn Setting

The ceremony took place in a delightful, cosy barn naturally flooded with light from a wall of windows – the perfect setting to say “I do.” The end of the aisle was framed by a stunning floral arch filled with an abundance of orange and red blooms, along with lush greenery. The rich colours provided a beautiful contrast against the rustic wooden beams, adding warmth and vibrancy to the ceremony space.

As Charlotte walked down the aisle, accompanied by soft melodies played on a mini grand piano, it was a moment of pure grace and beauty. Charlotte’s bridal look was the epitome of classic elegance: a silk wrap bodice dress paired with an A-line skirt that flowed effortlessly to the floor. Her styled waved hair and natural makeup completed the sophisticated ensemble. Bridesmaids complemented her in sage green strappy dresses, while Aaron and his groomsmen looked dapper in grey suits accented with golden bronze ties.

A Beautiful Transformation: The Reception Barn

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests moved to the reception barn, which had been transformed into a magical dining space. The trestle tables were draped in white cheesecloth, adorned with twinkling tapered candles and festoon lights suspended overhead, creating a romantic ambiance. The centerpiece was a neon sign of “The Chahals” that backed the happy couple, casting a soft glow and making for the perfect focal point in the room.

Capturing Golden Moments

Although the day started with rain and clouds, just as Charlotte and Aaron exchanged vows, the skies cleared, and the vineyard was bathed in soft sunlight. By the time we headed out for their couple shoot, we were greeted by the most breathtaking sunset over the vines. It was the perfect moment – we found ourselves racing through rows of vines, chasing the golden light as it dipped behind the horizon. Capturing these fleeting moments felt like a scene out of a movie, and the joy between Charlotte and Aaron was palpable as they laughed and embraced in the warm, glowing light.

Evening Celebrations: A Burst of Culture and Joy

The evening kicked off with an exhilarating burst of energy, thanks to the vibrant beats of a traditional Indian dhol band. The Ministry of Dhol filled the reception space with infectious rhythms, encouraging everyone to their feet. The dance floor became a whirlwind of movement, laughter, and spontaneous celebrations. At one point, Charlotte was lifted onto a chair, high above the crowd, while family and friends cheered and danced around her.

One of the most memorable parts of the night was when the family tradition, the game of “Dead Bug,” took centre stage. It had everyone roaring with laughter and added a personal, joyful touch to the evening.

Why We Loved Filming This Wedding

As a Berkshire wedding videographer team, we know that every couple’s story is unique. What made Charlotte and Aaron’s day truly stand out was their deep connection and the thoughtful way they wove their personalities into every part of the celebration. From the venue choice and the florals to the blend of traditional and modern elements, the day felt like a perfect reflection of who they are.

Their trust in us to capture these moments made the experience even more special. We’ve known Charlotte’s family for years, having filmed her sister’s wedding, and it felt like reuniting with old friends. We loved how relaxed they were during every filming session, making it feel less like a task and more like a fun, intimate experience shared with friends. Our favorite moment? Hanging out of the boot of a car to get the perfect shot of them – it’s that dedication that makes filming weddings like these unforgettable!
